HISTORY
In 1963, Tom Edwards opened the Real Estate office of J.A. Willoughby & Sons in a one room office in the front of his home on the main street of Bala. A merger with Gibson Brothers later then created the office of Gibson Willoughby, Realtor.
In 1973, Tom elected to become an independent Broker and incorporated a few years after, as Tom Edwards Ltd. In 1986, Tom sold the company to Keith and Jennifer Edwards. For 20 years they ran a successful independent brokerage. In 2007 the decision was made to expand and February of that year saw the opening of the new Royal Lepage Lakes of Muskoka Realty Inc. office in Bala.

Keith Edwards is a broker and is a born and bred "Bala boy". He has lived both on the Moon River and Lake Muskoka. In his earlier years he worked as a builder and brings to the table a unique understanding of the building industry.
Gale Rowlandson started in the industry in 1986 working for a Realtor in Gravenhurst, and in 1991 joined Tom Edwards Ltd. She too has lived on Lake Muskoka and Moon River and currently resides in Bala.
Jennifer Meek-Edwards hails from Toronto. In 1983 she moved permanently to Muskoka, and currently lives on the Moon River. Jennifer received her licence in 1987 and works primarily as a Buyer's Agent.
